Butter Chicken


  • 1 Large Onion
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 500g Chicken in cubes
  • 2tbsp Oil
  • Half Stick Butter
  • 1tsp Garlic Powder or fresh Garlic
  • 2tsp Black Pepper
  • 1tsp Salt
  • 1tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Handful of Nuts Cashew, Peanut, Walnut etc


  1. Marinate chicken in lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, 1/2tsp salt and 1tsp pepper for 30 minutes
  2. In the meanwhile a table spoon of oil in pan and sauté onion
  3. Add butter and let the onion turn golden brown
  4. Add tomatoes and nuts
  5. Add garlic powder, ½ tsp salt and a tea spoon of black pepper
  6. Let it cook for 15 minutes
  7. Add some water cook for 5 minutes
  8. Blend the mixture
  9. Cook the marinated chicken until golden brown
  10. Add onion tomato puree
  11. Cook for 10 minutes
  12. Before serving top it with a little bit of butter, some greens and cream
