Ingredients
- ½ Cup All-purpose Flour
- ½ Cup Semolina
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp. Oil
- Warm Water
- Oil
- 1 Cup Chickpeas
- 2 Potatoes
- 1 Onion
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 Carrot
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 Cup Yogurt
- ¼ Cup Tamarind Pulp
- 2 tbsp. Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. Chaat Masala
- 1 tbsp. White Powdered Sugar
- Mint Chutney
- Hot and Sweet Chutney
- Bhel
Instructions
Papdi Chaat
- Mix flour, semolina, salt and oil
- Knead well with warm water to make a firm dough
- Flatten the dough and cut circles
- Poke holes in it with fork or knife
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown
- Mix yogurt and powdered sugar
- To make Tamarind Chutney, Take tamarind pulp in a pan
- Add water, brown sugar and chaat masala
- Cook until it reaches your required consistency
- Boil potatoes
- In a plate start layering
- Papdi, potatoes, onion, tomatoes, yogurt and chutneys
- Top it with Bhel
Aloo Chaat
- Boil Chickpeas
- Boil Potatoes
- Finely chop all vegetables
- Start layering in a plate
- Pour everything in a bowl
- Add chutneys
- Mix and Serve as is or with pani puri
