Chicken Bread

Ingredients
  

Ingredients for dough:

  • 3 cups Bread Flour or All-purpose Flour
  • Milk to knead
  • 3 tb spoon Water
  • 1 tb spoon Yeast
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 t spoon Salt
  • 1 tb spoon Sugar
  • 2 tb spoon yoghurt
  • 2 tb spoon Oil

Ingredients for stuffing:

  • 250 g Chicken boiled and shredded
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 tb spoon Butter
  • 1 tb spoon All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 t spoon Salt
  • 1 t spoon Black pepper
  • 2 tb spoon Mint Chutney
  • Chicken stock cube and some water
  • Or Chicken Stock

Instructions
 

  • Warm the water
  • Add sugar and yeast in it
  • Set aside
  • Add salt and egg in flour
  • Then add yeast mixture and milk to knead
  • Set aside until it doubles its size, Usually takes about an hour
  • Add butter in a pan
  • Sauté onion
  • Add flour make a roux
  • Add Chicken stock
  • Or stock cube and then add water
  • Cook until you get your required consistency
  • Add salt, pepper and mint chutney
  • Then add chicken
  • Mix everything well together

Making Chicken Bread:

  • Knead the dough
  • Separate it in half
  • Make a rectangle by using rolling pin
  • Place the chicken mixture in middle
  • I spread buffalo sauce (it is optional)
  • Cut the stripes from both side
  • Fold the dough stripes in making a braid like shape
