Chicken Pulao
Ingredients
- ¼ Cup Oil
- 2 Cups Rice
- 4 Cups Water
- 1.5 lb Chicken
- 1 Large Onion
- 2 Large Tomatoes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Chicken Cube
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 Black Cardamom
- 3-4 Cloves
- 6-8 Black Pepper Corn
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
Instructions
- Take 2 cups of Basmati Rice
- Wash and soak for 30 Minutes
- In a pan add oil
- Add chopped or sliced onion
- Sauté the onion and add cumin seeds, black cardamom, pepper corn, cloves and cinnamon stick
- Cook for 2-3 minutes
- Add tomatoes
- Add salt and chicken cube and cook for 7-10 minutes
- Add Chicken cook for 5 minutes on high heat
- Then turn the heat to medium and cook for 15 minutes
- Then Add 4 cup of water for 2 cup of rice
- Let it come to a boil
- Drain the water and add soaked rice to the boiling water
- Cook until 90% of the water evaporates
- Cover and cook on lowest flame for 15
