Shrimp Chowder With a Twist
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Jumbo Shrimps
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1 Medium Onion
- 1 Cup Corn
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 Cup Half and Half
- 2 Cans Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- 2 Cups Stock
- 1 Cup Cheddar and Monterey jack cheese
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
Instructions
- Add butter in a pan
- Finely dice onion and add in the pan
- Cook for 5 minutes the add flour
- Cook until there is no more raw flour
- Add half and half
- Cook for 10 minutes
- Add stock
- Mix well
- Add corn and cook for 15 minutes
- Add shrimps
- Add cheese
- Mix well and serve warm
