Stuffed Paratha Recipe

Parathay

A layered flatbread typically made with flour, salt, butter & water. Different ingredients can be used to make variations of paratha. Here are a few.

Ingredients

  • 500 gm All-purpose Flour
  • 4 tbsp Semolina Sooji-Rava
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 Cup Lentil Channa Daal
  • 1 Cup Ground Beef
  • 1 Cup Ground Chicken
  • Salt
  • Red Chili
  • Black pepper
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Spring Onion
  • Red Onion
  • Cilantro
  • Green Chili
  • Bell Pepper

Instructions

  1. Step 1
  2. Make Dough
  3. Take all-purpose flour
  4. Add semolina, salt and oil in it.
  5. Knead well with warm water
  6. Set aside for 30 minutes.
  7. Step 2
  8. Boil Lentil and Potatoes
  9. Step 3
  10. Cut Vegetables
  11. Step 4
  12. Make dough balls
  13. And set aside for 30 minutes
  14. Step 5
  15. Cook Chicken and Beef
  16. Chicken:
  17. In a pan take oil
  18. Add onion and green chili, saute for 5 minutes
  19. Add chicken and cook well
  20. Add salt and red chili
  21. Mix well cook for 3-4 minutes
  22. Transfer in a bowl
  23. Add fresh spring onion, onion and cilantro
  24. Beef:
  25. In a pan take oil
  26. Add onion, green chili and bell pepper
  27. Cook for 5 minutes
  28. Add beef and cook well
  29. Add salt and black pepper
  30. Transfer to bowl
  31. Add fresh spring onion, onion and cilantro
  32. Step 6
  33. Add Spices into Potatoes and Lentil
  34. Mash potatoes and lentils
  35. Transfer in bowls separately
  36. Add ½ tsp red chili, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp chaat masala in each bowl
  37. Add fresh cilantro in lentil bowl
  38. Add fresh onion, green chili and cilantro in potatoes
  39. Step 7
  40. Shred Mozzarella Cheese
  41. Step 8
  42. Stuff and Fry Parathas
  43. Step 9
  44. Freeze the rest of the parathas
